 11. UN Chief Antonio Guetres has established a first of its kind panel on digital

cooperation aimed at addressing concerns of cyber security threats and rise in

awarding death penalty to convicts of raping girls under 12 girls. The Bill amends

Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), Protection of Children from Sexual

Offences Act (POSCO Ac), 2012 and the Code of Criminal Procedure. The Bill will

increase the minimum punishment for rape from the existing 7 years to 10 years.
