To Whom It May Concern:

It is my pleasure to be writing this letter of recommendation for Brittany Georgette. I was Ms.
Georgette’s collaborating teacher during her clinical practice at Rancocas Valley Regional High School
during the Spring 2017 semester. Ms. Georgette spent the majority of this time assuming the role of
lead teacher for one block of Honors Geometry and two blocks of College-Prep Geometry.

From the first day, it was obvious to me that Ms. Georgette is an observant and detail-oriented
individual. She picked up on classroom routines very quickly, and only needed to be shown once how to
complete daily tasks (such as taking attendance, recording grades, maintaining the class webpage, and
accessing online materials). Long before she assumed the role of lead teacher, she immediately began
to complete these types of tasks without prompting, while also helping to answer questions from
students throughout each lesson.

While leading the class, Ms. Georgette is organized and deliberate. She plans appropriately, and delivers
solid, well-structured lessons. She asks questions of me in advance if uncertain about how to present
particular topics, and does a great job of merging her own ideas with the suggestions that I provide.
Students feel comfortable asking her questions, and over the course of the semester, she has gained a
great deal of confidence when it comes to responding to unanticipated requests or questions from the
class.

Ms. Georgette is also careful and thoughtful when it comes to grading assessments. Early on, she would
approach me regularly, asking me appropriate questions about how much credit to award for certain
student responses, and always making valid arguments for whichever two scenarios she was
considering. As time went on, she began to make more and more of these decisions on her own, and as
I later reviewed the graded work, I would notice that she nearly always made the same decisions that I
would have made myself.

I am certain that Ms. Georgette will be an asset to any educational institution that she joins. I have no
doubt that future colleagues and supervisors will appreciate her talents and skills just as I have.

Sincerely,

Kevin M. Dziuba
