To Whom it May Concern;

It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Brittany Georgette for a position at Teacher of
Mathematics. I have supervised Ms. Georgette for the past year at the Burlington County Institute of
Technology. In that time, Ms. Georgette has proven herself to be dedicated, capable, and committed
to the school environment.

I visited Ms. Georgette numerous times throughout the year in both formal and informal
observations and walkthroughs. Her most noticible strengths are as follows:

 Ms. Georgette has remarkable classroom management and procedures. Her classroom is
run with efficiency and order. When she took over a class for a veteran teacher who went
out unexpectedly, which is not easy to do, the classroom transition was smooth and
ordered.
 Ms. Georgette has excellent formative assessment skills. Her use of technology, questioning,
and supervision to keep the pulse of the class was exceptional. She used the information
successfully to drive the pacing, which was perfectly suited to the needs of the class.
 Ms. Georgette’s use of technology is outstanding. She regularly infuses technology into her
lessons seamlessly. She is not afraid of testing new tools and does so with great success.
 Ms. Georgette intuits what students need. Once, I dropped into her class and witnessed a
lesson in which Ms. Georgette was walking the students through how she would approach a
problem. Her ability to model was more effective than what is typically seen in a math
classroom as she “thought” out-loud about how the problem should be approached. This is
an effective strategy seen more typically in ELA classrooms, but Ms. Georgette worked it
flawlessly in a mathematics lesson.
 Ms. Georgette has additional noted strengths in rapport, communicating expectations, and
engaging students in learning.

All of the administrators in our district were impressed by Ms. Georgette’s performance. Her classes
were well-managed and engaging. She assisted the district more than once with her willingness to
