1. Could you introduce yourself ?

My Chinese name is Yang kai, and you can also call me Frank. I am from Chengdu,
Sichuan Province, China. Currently/Now, I am 15 and I am a 9 th grade student and
I am studying in ChongQing Middle School. I guess I am a friendly and outgoing
boy and I like to make friends with people from different places. I really
appreciate this interview opportunity and I really want to study in your school
and learn some useful knowledge from your teachers and students.

To be honest, I don’t really like politics. Because I think the class is a bit boring
and I am always asked to memorize some meaningless information (regulations)
and it is not practical. But I still try my best every time in the exam.

4.Why you choose to study in xxx school?


receive better education/learn more useful knowledge.
I heard your school has a very good and comfortable environment, and you have
excellent teachers and friendly students. So I believe I can learn lots of useful
knowledge there and maybe enter a famous/first-class university in the UK in the
future.
The location of your school is very good, I know it’s by the sea and very close to

5. Why you choose to study in the U.K ?


Firstly, U.K has better and advanced education system, I can learn lots of useful
knowledge. Also, I think studying in the U.K, I can discover my (academic)
potential and learn more about different cultures in an international
environment.

6.how do you know us ? What do you know about our school ?


One of father’s friend recommended this school to me and he said your school
has an excellent learning environment, which is suitable for me to study there.

7. What do you like best in UK ?
I like British culture the most. I think Britain is a very old country with long
history. British people are very polite/ friendly. And the academic environment
学术的环境 is famous, it has lots of top universities, like Cambridge/oxford. My
goal is to enter a top university here in the future.

8. If you meet some difficulties in study/life when you are in UK, how will you
solve them?
Firstly, If I have some ….., I will try to solve the problems by myself. But if it is
something I cannot handle, I will ask help from my teachers or classmates,
maybe they can help me to solve the problem effectively.

9. What do you think about changing school?


I may feel a little anxious about changing school. because it is my first time to
study in another country which is far away from my hometown, and I need to
study in a new environment, new…. But also I feel quite excited, because I can
make more new friends, learn different knowledge.

10 . what do you need to prepare for studying in UK ?


First of all, I need to improve my English skills, so to make sure that I can
understand what the teachers are teaching and communicate with
locals/classmates fluently.
Secondly, I guess I need to prepare myself both physically and mentally. I need to
be a fast-learner and so I can adjust to the new environment in UK quickly.

11. Do you like your current school?


Some part I really like but there is something I dislike. The thing that I like is the
teachers and classmates in my school are very friendly and kind. So I really enjoy
the school life. However, I don’t like the food in the cafeteria, sometimes it’s not
that delicious and healthy.

12 What do you like to read out of school ?


I like reading some literatures. Journey to the West

13. what achievement you have gained in China/your school ?


I think I always get good grades in all my subjects, the average score is about 85.
and also I am good at sports and I won some prizes in running in our school
sports meeting.

14. What do you think you can contribute to our school?


I think I will try my best to enter a top 20 university in the UK and also I can join
some sports competition and get a prize for school.
