Brown rice (BR) production is one of the alternatives. This will boost farmers’ income because BR requires lesser fuel in milling and has higher milling Grain Quality Evaluation recovery than white rice (WR). Because of this, the Department of Agriculture considers BR as one of the solutions to fortify the country’s food security.
