H4122 SSAS Box software flash procedure




1. Store the applicable software file in a folder on the PC harddrive.

2. Connect the H4122 SSAS Box to a power source of 24VDC (refer to the
H4122 manual).

3. Connect the H4122 SSAS Box to the PC network connector using a

RJ45 network cable.

4. Power up the H4122 SSAS Box. The green led next to the sub-D 9-pole
connector should start flashing slowly (app. every 2 seconds).

5. Call up Windows on the PC and choose <Run>.

6. Enter the IP address KWWS of the SSAS Box and select

<OK>.

7. Select <SW Update>

8. Use <Browse> (<Gennemse>) to locate the software file previously

stored in a folder on the PC harddrive.

9. Select <Upload this file> and leave the upload process to take place,
lasting approx. 3 min.

After a lapse of approx. 3 minutes the following screen will appear:

In practice the indicated reboot process will not take place automatically:

10. Leave the indicated screen as is for minimum of 45 seconds then close
Windows Explorer.

11. Power down the H4122 SSAS Box.

12. After min. 5 seconds power up the H4122 SSAS Box gain.

13. Call up Windows Explorer and enter the SSAS Box IP address
KWWS to call up the SSAS Box Index page.

14. Select <Configuration> and verify the correct software version ( in this
case ) as one of the initial items indicated in the Configuration
page.
