 Chapter summary
Brian and David, They are looking for the town of Una-Una.
suddenly they see some men. Who are they? David asks.
They aren´t racers, David. They´re ... Indians!
The Indians take the two young men to an Indian village. A woman with blue eyes
comes and talks to Brian and David.
Her name´s Astrid and she´s German, she´s working there with the Indians.
Why are the Indians angry? David asks.
The miners want this place. Sometimes they come here and they kill the Indians,
We aren´t miners, We´re motorcycle racers, David says, We want to go to Una-Una.
The miners are coming to the village.
They're going to kill his men.
I can go to Una-Una. There´s a police station there, Briann says.
Caruak is going to go to Una-Una with you tomorrow. He´s Chief Maoni´s son, and he
knows the road, Astrid says.
At seven o´clock in the morning, Brian and Caruak get on Brian´s motorcycle. Caruak
isn´t very happy. He doesn´t know about motorcycles, gets off the motorcycle quickly.
Astrid talks to Caruak. Then he gets on the motorcycle again. The Indians watch from
the trees.

What is the moral of this chapter?

“Amazon Rally”, David and Brian are motorcycle racers, they are looking for the town of
Una-Una, but in reality they were surprised by the Indians, the miners come to town
they are going to kill the Indians, that is why they fear that they are killed and the miners
be left with the jungle because it is very beautiful.

Moral

The man in his eagerness to possess money is destroying the lung of the world. That is
to say the jungle and at the same time he is ending humanity in especially with those who
protect some of the most valuable resources that the planet has, in this case the Indians
are the ones who defend because they live in her and is the most valuable thing there is
for them in all their aspects of their lives because they extract from it the essentials to
survive, therefore any person different from them, who invades their territory is identified
as an enemy and more so because the language barrier is presented, but they make
themselves understood by the kinesic language according to the circumstance of the fact.
