Music Video Shooting Script
When the music starts, it fades into a bird’s eye view of a car driving on
an empty road.
Description of visuals
Paper signs will appear, “6 Years
Old”, boy holding his leg.
Then a boy runs on with three guys
all in black behind him, showing
they are dangerous.
Then it switches to a side on view
with the man driving, scenery
moves in the background.
He stands in the bottom middle of
the frame, and 6 people stand
behind him. Then they disappear
one by one.
Changes to a bird’s eye view of
fields. Slowly zooms out a little to
get the feeling of footage from a
drone.
Changes to a 1st person view of the
man driving in the car, with the
scenery moving making it look
more realistic.
Changes to 7 friends standing in a
field watching the sun go down
behind a hill.
Switches to a sign “15 Years Old”, a
picture of a teenager with a
cigarette.
Then a police car drives in and an
officer gets out of the car and
chases after them.
Switches to a side on view of him
driving, like before, with scenery
changing.
Signs saying “hiring” and pay
checks will be appearing in a
random order, layering on top of
each other. Then bottles of alcohol
and red cups, start to appear
randomly as well, lower down.
Changes to a 1st person view of the
man driving the car, with scenery
moving as well, just like before, to
give the illusion of movement.
Same as before, they stand with
their arms around each other in a
field watching the sun go down.
Changes to a memory of him in the
Lyrics

We watched the sunset over the castle
on the hill.
Fifteen years old and smoking hand-
rolled cigarettes.
Running from the law through the
backfields and getting drunk with my
friends.
Had my first kiss on a Friday night, I
don't reckon that I did it right, but I was
younger then, take me back to when.
We found weekend jobs, when we got
paid, we’d buy cheap spirits and drink
them straight, me and my friends have
not thrown up in so long, oh how we've
grown.
But I can't wait to go home, I'm on my
way, driving at ninety down those
country lanes, singing to "Tiny Dancer",
and I miss the way you make me feel,
and it's real.
We watched the sunset over the castle

Over the castle on the hill
park, with a friend, on the swings.
Then changes to another memory
of him and his friends having a
race.
Then it changes to the man
standing lower down the frame and
then the six friends then join him
one by one. So, when each line is
said one friend is revealed on the
frame what they’re lives have been
like since they were younger. Until
all six are on the screen.
It then goes back another bird’s eye
view of the car driving, like at the
start.
The changes to a die on view of him
driving with the scenery changing,
again.
Same as before, they stand with
their arms around each other in a
field watching the sun go down.
Switches to a memory of them all
sitting on a brick wall and drinking.
On this last line it ends with them
standing together with their arms
around each other, and then fades
out.
The end.

One friend left to sell clothes
One works down by the coast
One had two kids but lives alone
One's brother overdosed
One's already on his second wife
One's just barely getting by
But these people raised me, and I can't

Natural lighting from window. Block out window with paper. I will use
a White LED light instead of natural.

Cars outside, people talking in other I’m editing music into my production,
rooms of the house. so background noises don’t make a
difference.

Power Information: Solutions:

4 outlets, one behind a bed, one They’re out of the way, but also easy
under a desk. to get to if my camera needs to
recharge.

Clearances and Confirmations

As I am doing a stop motion music video, I won't be
needing any actors or consent forms to film in certain
locations. I am using paper cut outs for my characters as
well as backgrounds and I will be filming using my desk in
my room, so I also won't need to go anywhere, which is
perfect considering we're in a world pandemic.

Contingency Plan

Because I plan to do a Stop motion animated music video, I won't need

to leave my house and I won't need other actors or anything like that. I
planned this around the outbreak of the Coronavirus, so if we were
forced into lockdown/quarantine, then I wouldn't be affected because I
have everything I need for my production at home.
