Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on Job satisfaction, Employee Engagement,

Organizational Commitment and Organizational Culture

Abstract

In every organization employee performance is one of the main factor for enhancing and

retaining the intellectual capital and this can be done when the employees of the organization are

committed to their work, they are satisfied with their job and continuously engage in order to

complete their tasks. Corporate social responsibility is very important for the firm in today’s

world because it is considered the main source to enhance the profitability and organizational

performance of the firm. And corporate social responsibility is consider as a liability on the firm

which are listed in the stock exchange these firms has to spend their 1% from the total revenue

for the wellbeing of the society. As the main focus and aim of this research is to examine “the

impact of corporate social responsibility on employee organizational commitment, employee

engagement, organization culture and job satisfaction in HBL bank Pakistan. The collection of

data is done through questionnaire, data is collected from the employees who are currently

working in Habib bank limited and others in order to find out the relationships between both

variables through questionnaire by using (likert scale). Total population of this study is 15000

therefore sample size is 375 that is calculated by Raosoft calculator as this research follows

survey research strategy so; to analyze the required data SPSS version 2.0 is used. Moreover,

regression analysis prove that all the CSR have significant and positive impact on all

Independent variables. Companies must include CSR initiates in their long term plans in order to

get higher support from top management and productivity for employees
