Dear Mrs. Hernandez,

I am interested in applying for a Kindergarten level teaching position at your school. I have
experience in teaching ages 3-6 in a Montessori classroom as well as being an assistant teacher in
a preschool level classroom. I also have my bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies that I have
received from Arizona State University. My experiences in these classroom as well as my love
for children and going to Catholic School throughout my grade school years make me an ideal
candidate for this position at St. Lawrence Catholic School.

Aside from being an assistant, I am also a tutor for three different children whose ages are from
5-8. I also have experience working with infants from when I worked at Discovery Point day
care center. I see that your school is all about love and kindness towards each other which is
what I teach all of the children at the Montessori School. It is important that we teach children
these strategies before anything else.

Lastly, your school strives to help others throughout the community such as taking school trips to
the farms to help collect eggs for people who are in need. I have experience in this because I
have also taken my Montessori students to local places to reach other to the community so doing
this in a Kindergarten level classroom would be a perfect fit for me.

My main goal in life is to teach children about the beauty of Kindness as well as expand their
knowledge as they grow up. I hope I hear from you soon.
