 Slide 3 was about Toby’s name
and the meaning of his name
o explained to Toby what
types of pictures people
could put on that slide that
represent their name
o only one teacher provided
website worked
o Toby’s name had no
information on the website
that we were using so the
other option is to ask
parents about their name
and Toby gave some
Lesson Plan

attitude about asking and

how he would remember
 I reminded him that
this is his assignment
for another class and
he will be receiving
points for this
assignment so if he
doesn’t get the
information needed
for the slide he will
lose points for that
slide and Toby is big
about earning all
points possible on
assignments
 Slide 4 was favorite meal so we
discussed what Toby could choose
because he needs to include his
favorite main course that includes
2 side dished, dessert, and
beverage.
o Toby typed out his favorites
before packing up
Second Meeting
 Toby returned for second lesson
and we continued working on the
presentation
 Toby assisted in adding pictures
for slide 4 since every food item
needs to visually be represented
o Toby came independently
insert one image into a
presentation slide, but I had
to assist with more than one
because of sizing and
placement on the slide
 Slide 5 was details about
family/friends/pets
o Toby talked about his 5
brothers and 3 sisters not
including him
o he has a goldendoodle
named Daisy
Lesson Plan

o Toby needs to ask parent

about getting pictures of
family to insert into slide
 Slide 6
o Favorite and least favorite
and Toby inserted one
picture into the slide
because his favorite and
least favorite were very
similar
 Slide 7
o His choice and he choose
activities and picked out his
own pictures for this slide
 Slide 8
o fun/funny things you have
done
o talked about the types of
things that could be, but
Toby said solve a Rubik’s
cube and that fits more
under activities than
fun/funny things he’s done
