Student will create a powerpoint presentation with multiple slides, transitions and animations for every slide, and at least one visual per slide. 2. Student will integrate multimedia and visuals into a presentation to add interest, clarify information, and strengthen claims and evidence about a chosen topic. Intro We will begin the lesson by having an informal conversation with the student as we set up for the lesson. I do, We do, You do 1. Student will turn on technology devices (laptop and Focus40) and open up the powerpoint app on the laptop. 2. Student will open up previously worked on PPT (All About Me) 3. “Careers” course and he will need to bring in pictures of himself and family to use in the powerpoint. 5. Toby will find pictures online that correlate the information on each slide and work on not being so specific when searching for pictures. 6. Notes for during and after lesson: First Meeting Continued to work on the powerpoint presentation Slide 3 was about Toby’s name and the meaning of his name o explained to Toby what types of pictures people could put on that slide that represent their name o only one teacher provided website worked o Toby’s name had no information on the website that we were using so the other option is to ask parents about their name and Toby gave some Lesson Plan

how he would remember I reminded him that this is his assignment for another class and he will be receiving points for this assignment so if he doesn’t get the information needed for the slide he will lose points for that slide and Toby is big about earning all points possible on assignments Slide 4 was favorite meal so we discussed what Toby could choose because he needs to include his favorite main course that includes 2 side dished, dessert, and beverage. o Toby typed out his favorites before packing up Second Meeting Toby returned for second lesson and we continued working on the presentation Toby assisted in adding pictures for slide 4 since every food item needs to visually be represented o Toby came independently insert one image into a presentation slide, but I had to assist with more than one because of sizing and placement on the slide Slide 5 was details about family/friends/pets o Toby talked about his 5 brothers and 3 sisters not including him o he has a goldendoodle named Daisy Lesson Plan
