What is your favorite musical instrument? Why do you like it?

My favorite musical instrument would be my electric guitar. It is a Gibson Les Paul

brand and it was given to me by my brother. I just adore my guitar because it sounds so
awesome when I play it. I practice English rock music with it and the melody soothes my
heart. I am taking private guitar lessons to improve my aptitude.

What is your favorite story book/novel/ books? Why do you take pleasure in
reading such book/ books?

Well, I enjoyed reading ‘Gulliver’s Travels’ by Jonathan Swift. I also liked ‘Kidnapped’
and ‘Treasure Island’ by Louis Stevenson. The novels were thrilling and amusing. The
story of Gulliver’s Travels was also witty when Gulliver meets the kingdom of Lilliput’s.
Such novels give me insight and imagination of awe-inspiring/ astounding stories.

What is your admired / favorite music band? Why do you like their music? Do you
listen to Bengali bands, whether rock or pop?

I think my favorite rock musician/band would be American band Bon Jovi. The band is
named after the singer John Bon Jovi and they are romantic hard rock band. I adore
their songs such as ‘Living on a Prayer’ and ‘It’s My Life.’ Bon Jovi is around 57 years
old. Their songs are brilliant and melodious. The guitarist of the band Richie Sambora is
also very talented. Bon Jovi is an eminent group. Furthermore, I have to say that my
favorite British hard rock band would be the legendary Led Zeppelin; their guitarist
Jimmy Page is very inspiring, because I try to play his music on my electric guitar. Their
songs such as “Rock’n Roll” and “Going to California” are so melodious.

I admire some Bangladeshi rock bands such as Souls, James and pop singer Biplob.
Mr. James sang some nice songs to inspire the rock fans in Bangladesh and even West
Bengal in India. Souls is an old band and very influential.

Where did you visit last year? Did you enjoy your trip and why?

In 2012, I visited Taj Mohal in India. I went with my university friends. Taj Mohal is
located in Agra and it is so mesmerizing. The building itself is so marvelous. The tombs
of Emperor Shahjahan and Empress Mumtaz in Taj Mohal are so breathtaking. Tourists
from all over the world gather there to observe the stunning view of the magnificent
architecture of Taj Mohal. Also I noticed the Yamuna river flowing beside Taj Mohal. Me
and my friends enjoyed there very much.
Where are you planning to visit this summer? Who will accompany you? What
sightseeing’s will you go to?

I am planning to go and see Taj Mohal in India with my university friends. I truly want to
see the mesmerizing building of Taj Mohal. I have seen it on television and I have read
about it in google and encyclopedia. However I am looking forward to seeing Taj Mohal
live. I cannot wait to see it. After seeing Taj Mohal, I would like to visit the Mogul
architectures in West India. Also I want to visit the mountains of Darjeeling in North
India and also taste the famous tea there. I have to see the vista/ breathtaking view of
the hills there.

Describe your school where you studied before. Did you like the school and why?

The name of my primary school was West Tigers School in Dhaka. It had three
enormous buildings and a vast playing field with two slides and a big swing on the field.
I miss my school a lot. We had lot of activities in and outside the classes. There was a
pond beside the school buildings. Our classes were large and we used to play games
sometimes. We had lot of school activities.

Describe briefly a famous/ eminent person that you admire. Why are you
influenced by him/her? Soccer player Messi of Barcelona team is my favorite.
Messi is such a brilliant, thrilling and incredible player. I just adore him.

Undoubtedly, a famous personality that I admire deeply is Mohandas Gandhi, the non-
violent leader who has freed India from British imperialism. Gandhi has inspired millions
of Indians, Bengalis, Europeans, and other Asians who have fought against injustice
and oppressions. Gandhi, a very simple modest man emerged to be an ideal motivator
and leader who transformed the oppressed India without any battle or bloodshed.
Gandhi has inspired me to think peacefully for world peace and justice. He is a symbol
of ultimate peace and love.

Tell me about your favorite movie/ movies. Why you do you like the movie and
who are the actors/actresses? Do you watch BENGALI movies?

There are so many English movies I have always enjoyed watching. The movie series
that I admire most is Godfather I, II . It portrayed the infamous Italian Carleoni dynasty
in America and their clashes with their foes. Godfather I or II is such a brilliant movie.
My second most preferred movie is Gandhi, produced in 1983 and that movie has won
multiple Oscar awards. After watching Gandhi. I got a better glimpse of the Indian
history in mid 20th century and the eminent leader Mohandas Gandhi. It was such a
stunning movie. I also like Transporter 1 and 2 and the actor is Jason Statham- he
keeps the suspense in a cool way. I love to watch movies of actresses Angelina Jolie
and Hillary Swank. When I get the opportunity, I often watch Harrison Ford’s ‘Indiana
Jones’ series and Sean Connery’s ‘James Bond’ series – such movies are always so
awesome and thrilling.

Some Bangladeshi movies or should I say telefilms have been entertaining; most of the
Bengali movies are of low budget, low-priced set and actors and also terrible sound
system and awful story line. However, classic older Bengali movies from Calcutta, West
Bengal have always been high standard, enthralling and entertaining.

Other vital subjects you should know:

Favorite member of family/or older family friend/ neighbor- Uncle James- he is so

nice and witty/funny- he used to bring chocolates for from England/ so kind/
amicable. Uncle James can also sing American pop songs with his acoustic
guitar.

Why do you like him / her- Uncle Johnny is so kind, benevolent, giving, humorous

Internet- use / Information Technology- Internet has transformed our lifestyles

dramatically / things like Skype, FB, Google- search engines, twitter and other useful
websites have enhanced our links people and unlimited information/ also has created
millions of jobs in outsourcing and software development i.e. India

Pets- I have a small brown puppy- his name is Jerry. He is so cute and adorable. He
likes cookies/ biscuit; dogs are man’s best friend/ can sacrifice life for the boss

Color- my favorite colors would be green and second choice is black. Green
symbolizes, serenity (peace), green foliages (leaves), positivity. Black is a n unique
color to show a certain anger or isolation; however the color locks better as black shirts.

Transportation – I prefer bus and bicycle. Sometimes I use bus to get my work, and I
use bicycle to the nearest store/shops and to roam around at weekends. Bicycle is very
healthy and economical. Bus fares are also very affordable.
Ideal City that you would like to stay in- Advanced transport/ clean and pollution
free/ less crowd/ big parks/ lake/ shopping centers/ lot of greenery/ lanes for
bicycle users

Why English language is vital- international medium of language, commercial and

IT language, very popular, south Asia speak English, university education and
career

Do you go to gym/ fitness center/ why/ health is wealth?- Beneficial for heart and
muscles/ bones. Keeps you slim and younger; cuts stress; diabetes and obese
people have to exercise; lot of benefits Is jogging vital?- Keeps you healthy,
young looking and slim

Are you optimistic about the world- No; food cost has risen by 15-25% in lot of nations;
livelihood is tougher; overpopulation in South Asia; unemployment 7-9%; rising inflation;
environmental disaster- pollution. Globalization- opens up economy/ free investment/
creating good jobs in developing nations/ opened the window of opportunity for trade
and international business; G-7, BRIC nations, OPEC, SAARC

Career- you prefer/ businessman or employee- why? Democracy and its values.
