Apply Dry:

Applying boat decals custom on wet surfaces cannot help you in getting the desired results as

wet surfaces will reduce the stickiness of these decals they will leave the surface very soon. So,

in order to make their use for a long time, always apply them on the dry and clean surfaces.

Doing so will not only help you in getting desired results but also saving your decals from

wastage.

2. Watch out for wind

Do not apply your decals on a windy day otherwise there are the chances of scattering decals

everywhere and it will also make it difficult to apply accurately. In the case of faster wind you

will be running around to collect your decals and all your enthusiasm can turn in struggle and

hassle. It has been happened to many people and you will not be looking good running down the

beach and around in shorts, so avoid applying your decals on a windy day.

3. Avoid moisture times

Avoid moisture times such as early morning and late in evening in the cold weathers. The

moisture on the boat surface

4. Please install stickers only in a shaded area. Make sure that your

substrate is not hot.
5. Do not apply early or late evenings in cold climates or cold winters.
Surface moisture can be an issue if trying to make stickers stick straight
away.
6. LEAVE air bubbles alone. I see many thrill seekers recommending to
others to use a particular method that will damage the vinyl. This is trapped
oxygen and will flatten with the sun on its own accord.
7. Only use the dry method installation process.  By using the wet method
approach you need to wait a day or 2 for the water to dry out and you will
be left with app tape glue on your hull which requires a bit of elbow grease
to remove. So stay away from the wet application method.
8. Stickers may take up to 4 to 7 days for them to cure on your substrate.
9. Remove any surface polish from the substrate area before applying the
stickers.
10. Make sure you wash the surface area properly with soapy
water and dry the area.
11. Polish your boat only and polish around not the the stickers.
