At-Home
Campout!
In music class, we watch Peter and the Wolf while “camping out” in
the music room with our classmates! While we can’t do that this
year, you can have your very own campout at home! Here’s how:

Step One: Get Comfy!

Put on your comfiest pajamas, grab a pillow
and a blanket, and your favorite stuffed
animal! You can maybe even make a snack!

Step Two: Set up Camp!

Find a good place to watch a movie on youtube,
and set up camp there! Maybe in the floor, on a
couch, or you could even make a pillow fort!

Step THree: Watch the movie!

Type in the YouTube link below into your
computer, and you can watch the exact same
movie we watched in music class! Don’t forget
to listen to the music that each character
makes, and HAVE FUN!

Personal
Performance!
The next few pages are coloring sheets for all of the characters in
Peter and the Wolf! Using those, you can put on your very own
puppet performance of Peter and the Wolf!

Step One: Color!

Turn these coloring pages into your best
works of art! You can make them as fun and
as creative as you want!

Step Two: Cut out the photos

Ask a parent or guardian for permission or help
using scissors to cut out the characters you’ve
just colored!

Step THree: Make Puppets!

Try to find some sort of stick to glue or tape to the
back of your drawings. You can use straws,
popsicle sticks, pencils, etc.! After you;re done, you
should be able to hold them up like little puppets!
Step four: Set the stage!
Sit or stand behind a curtain, box, table, counter,
etc. and get ready to perform with your puppets
on your own “stage”! You could even cut out trees
for your forest scenes!

Step five: Perform!

Perform your own version of Peter and the Wolf for your own
personal audience! You can ask a family member or friend, or
perform for some stuffed animals! Remember to sing each
character’s song when they appear! And HAVE FUN!
