Exploration: The students will follow along with the Prezi (I will be doing voice over).
In the Prezi, there will be information and articles about different types of animals that form
groups. The Prezi will briefly review what claims, evidence, and reasoning are. The student will
download a graphic organizer provided in the Weebly website to fill out using claims, evidence
and reasoning. Using the articles, the students will choose two animals to focus on and fill out
each section of the graphic organizer. Their evidence will explain how the animal benefits from
living in groups.

Explanation: The student will share and explain why the animals they chose live in
groups with someone in their household. I will provide an answer key with multiple possible
answers to their graphic organizer.

Modification: Screen casting and subtitles.
