Title of Lesson: Cookies on a plate


Brief Description: The children and I will be playing a game. We will count the cookies to ten for each player.
We will then play different variations of the game.

I. Concept Statement

The children will enhance their understanding of mathematics and numbers by engaging in a Cookie counting
game.

The children will gain an understanding of pairs by sorting and matching the same cookies together.
