REFLECTION PAPER OF THEATRE
A. Plot
The plot of the story is all about a married couple named Gonzalo and Nita. Gonzalo
phoned Nita that he will come back home. He put on his knowledge about Nita’s affair with his
best friend of 15 years, an unmarried man named Adrian. He showed Nita cyanide, a deadly poison.
Nita asked why he has one and he answered that it is for business purposes. Sometime later, Adrian
came over and chatted with the married couple. Then asked his best friend, Gonzalo, for some
money and was not hesitatingly granted by Gonzalo. The chat went pretty long until Gonzalo
offered Adrian some coffee. Unaware to Adrian, Gonzalo slipped some cyanide as an act of
revenge for what Adrian did while he is away. Nita was alarmed by this action and stopped
Gonzalo and his actions, to not to avail the drink. He even told Nita that she will see her secret
lover die in front of her. Lately, Adrian drank it. The poison slowly spread in and then Adrian died.
B. Setting
The setting is in living room where a coffee-table is in front of the sofa. On a table near the
balcony, there are a telephone and a lamp, a floor-lamp beside the sofa and newspaper on the table.
C. Characters
The characters are Gonzalo (which is Nita’s husband), Nita (which is the wife of Gonzalo)
and Adrian (which is his best friend of Gonzalo).
D. Genre
The Genre of the play was a tragic-drama.
The story is all about a married couple named Gonzalo and Nita. Where Gonzalo put on
his knowledge about Nita’s affair with his best friend of 15 years, an unmarried man named Adrian
and also about the poisonous deadly drug called cyanide. It affects me that once I will be married,
I have to choose the right partner or the love of my life without an affair or by not bringing up
again the affairs of my love of my life because that would create a great disaster to our relationship,
bringing up the past affairs would not help grow of our relationship, it’s better to see for what I
have today then bringing up the disastrous past. I have learned as a student that cyanide is a rapidly
acting, potentially deadly chemical that can exist in various forms. It should be kept aware from
people so that it could not harm us in any way
It portrays social issue which is the dangerous usage of cyanide and making of it as a
business and having an affair which could destroy relationship. The characters did deal with the
cyanide where Gonzalo used cyanide as business and used cyanide to kill Adrian to stop having
an affair with Nita. Nita did try to stop such dangerous act of Gonzalo which how she deals with
the social issue of the cyanide. Nita tried her best to change Gonzalo but Gonzalo is uncontrollable
by Nita anymore.
It helped my personal realization that once dealing this kind of issue should be done by
court, settling with the person with the right act and by not doing dangerous acts towards your
fellow friends and family because of their unforgivable acts they have done that it really affects
your feelings, we should be controlling our emotions not our emotion be controlling us. Still be a
human whenever we have encountered this kind of this situation and learn to forgive not matter
how big the person it caused of hurting so much.
 As my learning, I understand Gonzalo and his rage, but killing is not the right thing. He
should’ve settled it in court or in a good way of settling with Adrian. A person can never play God.
A debate should be settled the human way and with human rules. Furthermore, the story showed
the fury of a man or a woman looked down. The revenge showed by Gonzalo is not right because
of the frustration he felt that his wife was cheating behind his back. Lastly, cyanide is dangerous.

REFLECTION OF MOVIE
A. Plot
Vergilio Sanchex is a contester of a gay pageant. Recently, he finds it hard to win pageants
because new faces have come to always take his chance of winning. He had Daisy Sanchez. She
is an adopted child of Vigilio which has a speech disorder that makes her easy to get bullied in
their school, especially one of her classmates called Lavina Montemayor. Daisy was appreciated
by Andrew Cervantes which is the campus crush in their school who disregards Daisy at first but
lately they became friends. Virgilio sells fish in a local wet market where he gets their living and
for the therapy. But as he almost complete the money, the money was stolen by a man names
Mario, the boy that Vergilio hired as a helper of his market stall. He then tell Daisy about the
incident and his daughter accepted it. One day, Daisy joined a pageant in their school but ended
up as in 1st place but as she showed everyone her talent in designing gowns, one of the judges grant
her a full scholarship in collage and when she graduated, the judge says that she will be her
assistant designer.

The setting is in the house of Virgilio, Local wet market and school
C. Characters
The characters are Vergilio sanchex (the father of Daisy), Daisy Sanchez (the adopted
daughter of Virgilio), Andrew Cervantes (campus crush in their school) and Lavina Montemayor
(group leader of mean girls)
D. Genre
The Genre of the movie was comedy and bittersweet drama.
The story is all about a Daisy gets bullied of having speech disorder which is uttering. It
affects my life because I also experienced uttering, it affects my way of explaining to someone
because they will see you sometimes that you are not confident of what you are talking or sharing
about or maybe your listeners will think that you are lying sometimes people will try to mimic you
for having that normality. Utter really affects my life as a student especially when you are trying
to deliver something in a formal event where you have to deliver your speeches nicely and
beautifully, having such disorder will be hard and needs more a lot of practice.
It portrays social issue which is the bullying and money theft. The characters did deal with
the issue by being positive, proving people that having the disorder is not a hindrance that you
have to stop but by being yourself all the time, making them believe that everything has purpose
why such thing is done or is happened, realizing that you can have friends no matter how good or
bad his/her conditions is, by believing yourself at all times, by trusting with your talents and
sharing your capabilities despite of having that speech disorder and lastly, go with your real friends
whenever you badly need their help.
I realized that having the disorder is not a hindrance that you have to stop from doing
something, everything has purpose why such thing is done or is happened, realizing that you can
have friends no matter how good or bad his/her conditions is, that I should believe in myself at all
times, by trusting with your talents and sharing your capabilities will show people what are you
capable of and lastly, lean on with your real friends whenever you badly wanted and needed their
help.
 I have learned that really that bullying is not a good thing to be done to a person. Sometimes
we need the help of our friends, there are things that we cannot do by ourselves. Everyone can be
our friend. Everyone has place in the earth to live no one has exception. We need to trust ourselves.
Use our talents, strengths and capabilities in a good way and wait for the time that you will be
appreciated, that time will come whenever you have patience
