angels referred to are identical, as are six of the seven “servants." in these
cases, as well, the order is the same and the mismatched items are in the same
place in the order,
The letters included in the two tables are identical, which is nal surprising
since those are the sawégif. The first three letters in the series are paired with
the same signs in both texts, while the last four are in a different order.
The same is true of the seven (Arabic) Beauliful Names of God associated
with each of the “seven signs," respectively. Since each of these Names begins
with the Arabic letter corresponding with the given sign, the order of these
Names is matched (and mismatched) in the same order as the Arabic letters. Six
of the seven Names of God in the series are the same, except for the Names
connect to shin. The Paris manuscript of Shams atma anifconnects Shahid with
the letter, while Shan alJufuliivah connects Shakar with the letter. Naturally,
both texts have the same set of days of the week to work with for each table, so
those are the same. And in both the list of days follows the same order (going
through the charts from beginning to end, starting with Sunday and going through
to Saturday.
