Evaluation methodologies

It has to present 2 types of methodologies exposed to the subjective and the objective. The
subjective evaluation is the one in charge of quantifying the quality of the user's experience of a
service from the psychological-acoustic and visual perspective. This methodology classifies,
categorizes and qualifies continuously; And on the other hand there is the objective evaluation
method that is responsible for estimating subjective quality from indexes or objective quality
measures. These models of statistical models for quality predictions and are expected as results of
how they are planning, laboratory tests and monitoring through it.

MOS

Measure the product with different kind of questions which rates in overall the specific perception
and also specific details such as little surveys during the process of using the service to know how
friendly the experience is being.

MDI

Method which basically looks for the network level parameters as they are quantifiable and
compare them.
For instance, they compare the amount of received bytes minus the number of last bytes calculating
how much of the content was last and base on the answer calculate the it as a percentage and
therefore predict the conclusions.

PESQ

Evaluate what is the voice sample.


Assures that the skill is working well or that needs to have a maintenance (speed, gitter, delay).
The loss volume is not considering to take the decision.

VQM

Evaluate multimedia contact: provides a score to rate the application service and are highly related
with human judgment
