The Federal Authority of Information and
Communication Technologies
• The Federal Authority of Information and Communication
Technologies (AFTIC) was a public body of Argentina, created in
2014 to ensure the development of Information and
Communication Technologies (ICT) throughout the Argentine
territory to ensure access to all the citizens. In 2016 it was merged
with the AFSCA, giving rise to the National Communications
Agency.
