Reflection 3

This week was hard for me because every day I was preparing for the lesson and help my

MST in her work and assessing the students. At the end of the week, we heard a piece of new

news that there is a variety in china, and it starts to come to UAE, and people start to be afraid of

this variety because it is dangerous.

Also, the students start not to come to school, and there is a lot of absents in the

classroom. But on the other hand, I though 4 lesson plans; the first one was a fairy story ‘the

three bears and goldilocks,’ and I let the students draw the characters and color them. We work

in that story three days; the first day, I read the story and show them the characters and describe

them to the students. The second day I let the student try to say the story in their own words and

draw the characters, and at the third day I assess the students when they are bringing the figure

and calling each character in their name, for example, Mam, Dad, Baby, and Goldilocks.

One of the students told me that he read the story for his little sister to help her to sleep

when he was in the home, which means that the students enjoy the lesson.

Moreover, I thought the math lesson which it was about the shapes, and we learn the 2D

and 3D ways, which is new for most students but some of the students were high level, so they

understand the 3D shapes, but other students know only the 2D shapes.

At the end of the week, I felt that I achieved a lot in this week, and I enjoy it when I learn

the students because that practicing is helping me to improve my teaching, notably my classroom

management improved a lot.
