Subject: Decline in Sales of Company Cars

Please refer to your memo M/03/242 dated 4rt March,2020 requesting for the
investigating reasons for the decline in sales of the cars.

Our company is known for its services to the consumers to satisfy and retain them.
Customers are the main source for generating sales and to improve sales by satisfying
their needs and when needs are satisfied they retain in future.

According to internal investigation it was concluded that ​Bharat Stage 6(BS6), is a 


standard of emission norms set by the government of India. These norms apply to both 
fuel and the engine. Currently, BS4 emission norms are in effect and all car models sold 
today are compliant with it. By April 2020, the BS6 emission norms will come into effect 
and we will have to upgrade our engine offerings accordingly.As we have not clarified 
how this shift will affect our products, certain buyers are delaying their new purchase. 
Making diesel engines compliant to BS6 standards costs a lot more than petrol engines, 
this affects the customers who want to buy diesel vehicles. Another important factor is 
the rise of taxi services like Uber and Ola, and the rise in traffic in big cities, people 
prefer taking a cab than buying your own car and the hassles that come with it. Some 
appropriate steps should be taken to improve our services in order to satisfy customers 
and retain them.  
 
Therefore, I request you to take some bold steps and find a solution to this problem and
kindly suggest our department regarding when to book orders and how much time
should be given for after sales services.
I would like to resolve the issue only after hearing from you. Hence, kindly inform me
before as soon as possible.
