“The human heart feels things that the eyes cannot see, and knows
what the mind cannot understand.”
Do you know the most important part of the body? For you what is it.
Is it the brain, the bones or the senses? Located at the central part of the
body, a pear-shaped pumping organ supplies the needs of the body. It
helps in transporting substances to the other parts of our body systems.
Without this very essential internal organ, life could not be made possible
and this body part is no other than the heart…
The heart beats about 2.5 billion times over the average lifetime,
pushing millions of gallons of blood to every part of the body. This steady
flow carries with it oxygen, fuel, hormones, other compounds, and a host of
essential cells. It also whisks away the waste products of metabolism.
When the heart stops, essential functions fail, some almost instantly.
