INTRODUCTION

It is important in our life to be educated because education

is the key in success. Education also is a very powerful weapon

in achieving a success in our life. It is important to be

educated not to be braggart that you achieve or you finish a high

level or you have a award in school it is important because

educated person is have a more capacity in understanding

specially in complicated situation. From the start of are journey

in school until we finished it we have a favorite teacher.

According to Wikipedia.org the teacher play vital roles in the

lives of the student in their classrooms. Teachers are best known

for the role of educating the students that are placed in their

care. Beyond that also the teacher serve many other roles in the

classroom. Teachers set the tone of their classrooms, build a

warm environment, mentor and nurture students, become role

models, and listen and look for signs of trouble.

The teacher is always here in are side to guide us, to teach

us a good manner, to give us a knowledge, to be a good role model

in are life, a teacher that very strenuous in doing a school

works and paper works, and a teacher that always have a patient

to us. The teacher is willing to sacrifice their time on their

family and the time on its self to rest because they give their

full time in teaching only on their loving student. That

sometimes we are close in our teacher. Because the teacher is

nothing desire in there student but only is to have a good life.

Because the success of a one student in here life is also a

success of a one teacher.

But we didn’t know that are favorite and lovable teacher is

have a big problem on how there manage their time in school and

in doing paper works. Because not only a one section the teacher

teach but sometimes the teacher handle a 4-6 section everyday. It

is very challenging in one teacher on how there going to manage

there time. Because the one teacher is doing a lesson plan,

reports, and other school works in every section that they

handle. According to mindtools.com time management is the process

of organizing and planning how to divide your time between

specific activities. The time of a one teacher is very essential

because they did not want waste time so sometimes the some

teacher take home their works because the teacher is have a many

works. A many works that cause a stress to the one teacher.

Stress is a big factor that affects the time management

process. The best way to address this kind of distracter is to

ensure that one should do his task effectively and efficiently

and always try to hurries in work. It is important to manage a

time to develop the being responsible in doing a work. Effective

time management allows to maintain focus on their work continuing

to do a task productivity. Improving time management skills is

essential to developing and sustaining a successful program.

Because Time management is very important and it may actually

affect individuals overall performance.

` Time is the most precious thing in the world. Learning about

how to effectively manage time is an important skill that someone

will need to acquire to be successful in his life. Time

management is an indispensable element of school organization. It

is the art of arranging, scheduling and budgeting ones time to

achieve objectives ( Mohanty, 2003 ). Time management is

universal phenomenon. It is process which involves the

determination of needs and prioritization of task. It is

difficult to control and manage. According to Green and skinner (

2005 ) time management points a high inconsistency between

individuals estimations of time usage and output results.

In managing time the teachers prioritizing the daily task is

also an effective method of time handling. For this purpose one

should have to separate and categorize his all activities

according to their importance. It is more suitable to handle less

important task intermittently in order to complete the major task

or work of a teacher. It is not suitable to just switch from one

big task to another. Such smaller task needed a little more

intensions and thoughts so that they do not consider again in

next turn ( Whetten, 1995 ). This is because most important task

requires more energy and the less important tasks require less

energy to finish the intended goals. Is the only thing that makes

effective time management tough because individuals should be

able to differentiate the task and spend their time on important

stuffs that they face everyday. Individuals should understand

that the result of their effort are not big matters on which they

are trying to focus ( Chesser, 1994 ).

Statement of the Problem

Scope and Delimitation

This research study will focus on the Time Management

Strategies of the Porterian Teachers. The respondents of this
study is exclusively only on the selected teachers of Our Lady of
La Porteria Academy.

A limitation of this study is done by a Porterian Teachers

with a sufficient knowledge and strategies in Time management.

Assumption

The researcher assumed that time management is helping the

Porterian teachers in managing a time in teaching.

Hypothesis

Time management is helping the teachers in managing time in

teaching and doing a paper works.

Time management is not have a effect in teaching and doing a

paper works of a teachers.
