EVENT PURPOSE & GOALS:  
The First Chance Basketball Game is a great way for recently graduated college basketball players to get 
an opportunity to be seen by NBA recruiters while raising money for their charity of choice in a fun 
competitive atmosphere built for all basketball fans to enjoy.  
 
Goal 1:​​Provide recently graduated basketball athletes the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in front of NBA 
Recruiters​. 
Objective:​Having 10 qualified scouts attend The First Chance Basketball Game on June 5th, 2021. 
 
Goal 2:​Get a sufficient number of players to form a desirable number of teams. 
Objective:​Partner with at least five recruiting companies to gain interest by May 1st, 2021. 
 
Goal 3:​​Secure TV and other media coverage to be broadcasted live for the First Chance event. 
Objective:​Partner with ESPN through a signed contract and get on a network of theirs by April 10th, 2021.

PURPOSE OF RFP: 
The purpose of this RFP is to fulfill a need for various rental and decor items for a social event. This 
will include:  
· Tables - belly bars (35) 
· Centerpieces - modest/simple (17) 
· Tablecloths - black spandex (35) 
· Glassware - wine glasses (2,500); water glasses (3,000) 
· Bar - (2) 
 
Numbers here are simple projections. Definitive amounts of each of these requirements will be 
solidified at the time of the contract signing.  
 
SCOPE OF SERVICES:  
Signature Party Rentals will provide and guide through related services/products they recommend for 
this event, availability of on-line catalogs, availability of E-commerce options, advanced billing 
options, and finance solutions.  
 
Signature Party Rentals must respond to feedback or requests from First Chance in a timely manner, 
have the ability to provide appropriate services and solutions, specify and order products to meet First 
Chance needs with consistent accuracy, and perform quality services. Must also: 
· Provide a quote based upon this RFP (preference for electronic quotes) and estimate the lead time 
for completion of any services requested.  
· Acceptance of orders by any method that is customary and acceptable.  
· Ability to change the order as requested by First Chance. 
· Provide operator services as required. Compliance with all federal, state, and local codes. 
· Compliance with First Chance policy, procedures, and work rules.  
· At the time of quotation indicate any product concerns and possible delivery delays.  
· Responsive to repairs.  
· Provide storage and/or alternative solutions to accommodate changes and delays, if any.  
· Responsive to billing, invoice, and credit issues within 10 days of notification.  
 
Timely delivery is important to First Chance and may be a consideration for award of this business. It 
is essential for Signature Party Rentals to indicate their capabilities to deliver as needed and their 
willingness to work with First Chance to assure their requirements are met.  
Any and all responsibility of transportation of rentals and decor mentioned falls to the provider, 
Signature Party Rentals. Provider will also assign necessary personnel to carry and set up/tear down all 
products efficiently and to its full extent, not relying on venue or First Chance staff. Floor Plan Design 
will be provided for direction, and event managers on site to assist with placement.
