WORK HISTORY
● January 2015 - May 2016
○ I have worked as a Math tutor for a Migrant Education Program through CSU
Stanislaus. I worked with Spanish-speaking Middle School students primarily in
Math, but also, Science, English, and History. I would commute to the middle
school and tutor students after school and then make home visits to students who
did not have proper transportation after school.
● June 2016 - July 2016
○ I have also worked a Summer job as a teacher at the Boy’s and Girl’s Club in
Merced, California. My job was to create 7 weeks’ worth of lesson plans for my
two classes as well as undergo training to help me identify and prevent bullying,
identify predators in these types of settings, and defensive driving courses.
● August 2016 - December 2016
○ Another job was working as a Math tutor for a Middle School in Waterford,
California. My work required me to be at the middle school twice a week, when I
did not have classes, from 8:00 am until 3:30 pm. I stayed with one teacher all day
unless there was another teacher who needed more help on a specific day, and I
would assist her in her lesson plans and help the students with their classwork and
homework.
● March 2017 - July 2019
○ For a year and still during my free time I work with the Lake Elsinore Unified
School District. I am an AVID Tutor and work with students in the AVID
program with homework problems that they have and help them to stay on track
with their schoolwork and studies. I specifically work with David A. Brown
Middle School and Elsinore High School. We work on Math, Science, and
Spanish primarily, but also with any other subjects that the students may be
struggling with.
● December 2017 - May 2018
○ Another job was working with Sears; I started off as a cashier and started ringing
people up on my first official day of work, I just came naturally to me! I was a
seasonal associate but was asked to stay by the manager so that I could move to
the merchandising crew to help with the store remodel.
● October 26, 2018 - March 2nd, 2019
○ For 5 Months I worked with Pechanga Resort and Casino as their hotel Bell
Dispatch. My duties were to answer the phone and address Bell related concerns
for guests, send Bellman out to the guests for assistance with luggage and with
events being hosted in the hotel. I also stored luggage, assisted guests with
wheelchairs, electric scooters, and provided a lot of directions a good amount of
the time.
● March 3rd, 2019 - Current
○ I am currently working for a company called Little Learners Therapy, where I
provide at-home therapy for children 3 and under. We do things such as play
therapy, we play with toys that aid in development, read books, color, and many
other activities while also teaching the children to speak, communicate properly,
play with others, make eye contact, and focus on a task for a certain amount of
time.
