1. Introduction of the Topic:

This project mainly emphasized on customer satisfaction in Surat city towards Reliance Jio.

Telecommunications has been one of the fastest growing industries in India. The telecom
services have been recognized the world-over as an important tool for socio economic
development for a nation. Reliance Jio owned by billionaire Mukesh Ambani created a buzz
in telecom industry by providing 4g services with HD voice calling and high speed data at a
very minimal price to Indian customers. The present study tries to study the various factors
that determines customer’s satisfaction on the services provided by Reliance Jio in Surat city.

2. Objectives of the Study:

Primary Objectives

To know the satisfaction level of Reliance Jio users.

Secondary Objectives

1. To know the awareness of Jio network


2. To study the preference of customers towards other network with Jio.
3. To identify the factors affecting choice of networks.
4. To analyze the competitive strategies of various mobile network services

3. Importance of the Study

This project will help to know the satisfaction of customer towards the services offered by
Reliance Jio in Surat city. This research can also help other people to compare the services
offered by others telecom operators. The telecom service provider can provide better services
on the basis of responses provided by the respondent.
4. Research Methodology:

A. Type of Research Design:

A detailed outlay about how an investigation will take place will be discussed here.
It can be broadly classified as explanatory or conclusive.
For this project, descriptive research design is suitable, which describe data & characteristics
about the population. Descriptive research answers the questions who, want, where, when &
how.

B. Collection of Data:

Data collection can be broadly classified into two parts: primary data & secondary data.
Herein both primary data through survey & secondary data through various books & websites
will be collected.

C. Data Collection Technique:

a) Sampling size:

Total number of element studied is sample size.


In this project, sample size will be of 100 people.

b) Sampling method:

In this project convenient random sampling that is, non probability sampling method
will be adopted

c) Sampling frame:

It is list of the items or people forming a population from which a sample is taken.
Here in this project Surat city will be the sample frame.

d) Sampling element:

The element which are available for selection in a sample such as organization,
product or person can be known as sampling element.
Here in this project sample element will be the person above 18 to 60 years living in
Surat city.

e) Survey method:

There are numerous options available for conducting survey like online, personal,
mail & computerized.
Here in this project research will be carried out through preparing structured
questionnaires through google forms.
f) Survey tool:

In this project, structured questionnaires will be used.

D. Data analysis:

In this report, the data collected will be analysed by following techniques:

1. Hands & cross tabulation


2. Charts
3. Tables
4. Percentages
5. Measures of central tendency

5. Limitations of the study:

Although the project will be going to be done with taking utmost care, certain limitations may
be bound to be there.
1. As the population as a whole will be not be studied, convenient samples are
selected this is its main limitation.
2. The time limit for completing the project will be limited.
3. The responses may be biased.

6. Scope of the study:

This project will only deal with understanding the Customer Satisfaction towards Reliance
Jio, in Surat city. This project will be limited to only the geographical location of Surat
city.This can also help research scholars, different universities and academicians.
