Antebrachi fracture is the continuity breakdown of the radius and ulna, and allows injury
to surrounding organs due to bone fragments. The results of physical examination in the case of
antebrachi fracture at the Efarina Berastagi Hospital installation in Karo Regency were found
tenderness in the antebrachi region. This research was conducted to get an accurate diagnosis
so that patients get fracture treatment according to what their experienced. This research
method uses a case study approach conducted from 31 July to 18 August 2018. It consisted of 1
subject with clinical antebrachi fracture due to a traffic accident. Subjects will undergo
examinations twice, using AP and lateral projections. From the results of physical examination
on the patient found tenderness in the left hand, and the results of radiological examination in
the form of AP and lateral antebrachi was found a fracture of the radius and ulna, it
strengthens the diagnosis. In this case the choice of action taken is in the form of conservative
measures with the installation of a circular cast aimed at immobility. Antebrachi examination
techniques using AP and lateral projections are very helpful for a radiologist in diagnosing a
case, one of which is a fracture. From this research, I can understand that antebrachi
examination with AP and lateral projections can provide accurate information in establishing a
diagnosis.
