Delta-Q Technologies Vehicle Charge Interface Module

The Vehicle Charge Interface Module (VCIM) enables Delta-Q

onboard Charging Systems to be powered from standard EV
AC charging stations (EVSE’s) in North America and Europe.
The VCIM is an onboard, rugged, sealed module that con-
nects to the electric vehicle (EV) receptacle and the Delta-Q
charging system enabling AC power flow.

OEM Features System Benefits

• Compatible with North American SAE J1772 AC charging
level 1 and 2; and European EN61851-1 mode 2 and 3
(Mennekes Connector) charging standards
• Interface to the vehicle receptacle’s Control Pilot and
Proximity Detection
• Negotiates the EVSE AC current limit and communicates
it to the Delta-Q Charging System
• Provide a path to control the optional receptacle lock
actuator and indication lights
• Supports J1939 EVCC messaging
• Supports receptacle Temperature Sensor
• Very low standby current below 100uA
• Dry contact for vehicle interlock while plugged in
