PROCEDURE:
2. GET THE VOLTAGES OF THE BATTERIES IN SERIES IN THREE DISTINCT PAIRS; 1&2, 1&3 AND
2&3.
3. USING THE INSTRUMENT , OBTAIN THE VOLTAGE AND STATE OF CHARGE VALUES OF THE
VARIABLES IN PROCEDURE 1 AND 2.

1ST TRIAL
DISCUSSION
For Voltage:
The scale that can be read on the voltmeter have the intervals of .2 V which makes the
equipment inaccurate.
The standard values and the measurements are close to each other.
For Current:
The scale that can be read on the analog ammeter have the intervals of .1 mA compared
to the resolution of the DMM of three decimal places.
The standard values and the measurements are close to each other.
CONCLUSION/OBSERVATION
Based on the data gathered and the results acquired in the experiment, the group
concluded that modern instrument/s or the instruments which was used as the standard (in this
case is the dmm) is more reliable than traditional analog ammeters and voltmeters. You can
easilt record the data because modern made instruments show readings in form of values while
in traditional instruments, the scale must be read by recording the value where the analog hand
points which can contain more discrephancies. Also, using analog instruments you need to be
wary of the polarities.
RECOMMENDATION
Analog instruments have certain use and limitations that you need to be aware of.
