About Centre for Corporate Legal Research & Training:


The promoting body of School of Law, Ansal University has the vision / mission to build and
continuously nurture a self-financed institution with excellence in education, research, development,
consultancy and extension of internationally recognized standards. This institution serves as an
intellectual resource base for the development of professional human capital bridging the gap between
academics and real life to meet the professional challenges of the millennium. The Centre for
Corporate Legal, Research and Training (CCLRT) is an endeavor to provide a professional platform
and outbound exposure to the students to excel in the field of corporate laws.

About the Competition:


Centre for Corporate Legal Research and Training (CCLRT) as a part of its endeavors of providing
with facilitation with its student’s community and proliferating awareness about the recent trends in
India in relation to Corporate & Business Laws, is organizing the Second Online Article Writing
Competition. This competition will circumscribe the latest developments and contemporary affairs
in relation to current corporate & business laws in and around India. In furtherance of such an
objective, we cordially invite articles from students from across India.

Selected Articles will be published.

Themes: -
1. Institutional Arbitration: Indian Approach
2. Investigation to Corporate Legal Fraud
3. Emerging Trends of Institutional Investment
4. Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 Bane or Boon
5. Investment Laws and Intranational Inequalities

Participants must adhere to the sub-themes as aforementioned & choose the title of their
Article under a particular theme; any deviation shall lead to disqualification.
Guidelines:
1. Co-Authorship shall not be allowed under any circumstances.
2. Only students pursuing a 3-year LL.B., 5-year B.B.A. LL.B./B.A. LL.B. can participate in this
competition.
3. No participation from any qualified CA, CS, CMA, etc. at the time of competition shall be
allowed.
4. Strict adherence to the deadlines shall be followed.
5. Any submission after the deadline shall not be accepted.
6. Plagiarism above 10% will lead to disqualification.

Registration Process and Fees: -


1. Registration shall be done solely through the below mentioned link. No registration will be

2. No Registration Fees is payable for participating in this competition.
Important Dates:

Details as to Formatting: -
1. Word limit: 2000 to 3000 words including Footnotes.
2. Font size:
a. For Headings – 14 (Bold)
b. For Sub-headings – 12 (Bold)
c. For Footnotes – 10
d. Other – 12
3. Font Style (for Footnotes & Body): Garamond/Times New Roman.
4. Line Spacing: 1.5
5. Footnoting Style: Harvard Bluebook 19th Edition or above.
6. Participants have discretion over the structuring of the Article. However, there must be a cover
page consisting the following heads:
a. Sub-theme under which the Article has been written.
b. Title of the Paper
c. Name of the Author
d. Affiliated Institution
e. Course & Semester

Any deviation from the abovementioned criteria will lead to disqualification.

Prizes and Certification:


Prizes to be won by the Winner, First Runner-up & Second Runner-up.
Participation Certificate for all the participants who have successfully participated in the
competition shall be provided.
