GROUPS OF ANIMALS

 There are two groups of animals VERTEBRATES and INVERTEBRATES.


 VERTEBRATES are: mammals, fish, amphibians, reptiles, and birds.
 INVERTEBRATES are: insects, sponges, and arachnids.
 VERTEBRATES have a backbone.
 INVERTEBRATES do not have a backbone.
3. Describe the following animals.
E.g. it is a vertebrate, it is a mammal.
