GROUPS OF LIVING THINGS

 You can group living things by color (blue, yellow, green, pink, red, etc.)
 You can group living things by size (big, medium-sized, small)
 You can group living things by shape (rectangular, cylindrical, square, triangular, round,
etc.)

 One group of plants has a trunk.

 Another group of plants has flowers.
2. Write down trunk or flowers.
GROUPS OF ANIMALS

 There are two groups of animals VERTEBRATES and INVERTEBRATES.

 VERTEBRATES are: mammals, fish, amphibians, reptiles, and birds.
 INVERTEBRATES are: insects, sponges, and arachnids.
 VERTEBRATES have a backbone.
 INVERTEBRATES do not have a backbone.
3. Describe the following animals.
