A The Contractor shall take into consideration when pricing the Note SAR -
rates of the bills, the inclusion and allowance for costs or
expenses against all requirements stipulated in the
preambles, drawings, and technical specifications, bearing in
mind that the construction works should not impede or affect
the daily operation.

B Rates for excavation are deemed to include for all temporary Note SAR -
earthworks support; to the Engineer's satisfaction.
SAR -
C The Contractor's unit rate for excavation / disposal is deemed Note SAR -
to include all necessary handling of excavated material to
facilitate the excavation operation including temporary stock
of piling of material, prior to disposal off site.

D In pricing this BOQ it is assumed that the Contractor has Note SAR -
visited the Site and has familiarized themselves fully with the
nature of the existing site conditions, access, restrictions,
topography, existing services, utilities and the like. No claims
due to unfamiliarity as to the full nature and extent of the Site
and Enabling Works themselves will be entertained.

E The quantities as identified below are Indicative Only. All Note SAR -
BOQ Items shall however be priced by the Contractor on a
Lump Sum Basis. As such, the Contractor shall satisfy
himself as to the adequacy of all quantities included herein.

A As part of the Lump Sum Fixed Price for the Works, the Note SAR -
Contractor shall include in this section for all items deemed
necessary to complete the Works.

B Attention is drawn to the following drawings and Note SAR -
specifications, including but not limited to Architects
Specification - Division 3 Concrete & Structural
Specifications.

C The rates / prices in this section shall take cognizance of and Note SAR -
shall be deemed to include but may not be limited to the
following:

D All Concrete Works to foundations, beds, pits, soft spots, Note SAR -
walls, columns, beams, slabs, stairs, upstands.
SAR -
E Any / all necessary special concrete finishes to conform with Note SAR -
the Specifications, including; fair faced finishes to exposed
surfaces, touching up finishes, repairs to finishes etc.

F Contractor is responsible for temporary stability during Note SAR -
construction and for all temporary works design

G All necessary steel reinforcements, treaded couplers, chairs, Note SAR -
spacers, tying wire, accessories and all necessary cutting and
bending.

H All necessary, tamping, vibrating, surface treatments (power Note SAR -
floating, trowelling etc.), curing, protection etc.

J All / any necessary construction joints (Transverse, Note SAR -
Longitudinal, contraction, isolation etc.), joint filler, mastics.

Equipment/Plant, incl any base hardeners or slab thickening
for plant and equipment.

Engineer prior to commencement. Construction joints are not
measured separately and are deemed to be included within
the rates.

the Cast-In Fixing Inserts for the Steel Frame are to be
installed by the Steel Contractor as part of the steel works.
The below is deemed to include all costs associated with
progress on same.

The Contractor shall describe and price below the items SAR -
necessary for the full and proper Completion of the
Works as described in the Specifications or shown on
the Drawings and for which either expressed or implied
provision is required and which are not covered by either
the items or the rates in the Bills of Quantities and
whether arising from the class of work, Conditions of
Contract or any other matter whatsoever. Anything not
so separately described shall be deemed to be covered
in the items and rates inserted in the Bills of Quantities.
