Business success requires a breath of abilities and knowledge of efficient management to survive in

global competition. The economy of internal world needs creative management which can
administer and conduct operations with strategic actions in different functions. Since my academic
interest to business field I have completed my first bachelor’s degree in business management. For
my career vision in the business area, I have made a decision to study the MSc International Business
Management program and develop myself more as professional to implement my plans and
enhance my future career.

From my own research on the course and modules provided by London Metropolitan University, I
have got a clear idea about the learning areas and outcomes I can gain from the study. One of the
vital modules of the course is International Marketing in the digital Era. By studying this module I will
have chance to learn different concepts of the value chain and understand the difference between
value creation and value capture. Also, by competing this module I will know the marketing mix
elements and the influence of globalisation and their relationships with marketing strategy in
concept of digital economies. This domain of knowledge will provide me with creative ideas for
gaining competitive advantages over other organisations while managing. The module will provide
very challenging skills which are drivers of modern business organisations that are digitalised.

Another important and very interesting module is Operations and Technology management. The
study of this module will involve different ways of analysing the technology that could be used in the
future to deliver value, evaluation of operations management and information systems to business
strategic aims. This module will definitely let me to understand the links between operations and
technology to make future business organisation successful.

International Managerial Finance module would help me critically evaluate business organisations
performance through the financial databases and reports. I will gain the knowledge and
competencies in financial market, investment and use of financial assets and how my decision as
manager will impact organisations. This will develop my understanding of the nature of risks, return
and shareholder value.

Studying Business Consultancy Project module would help me to demonstrate good judgement in
planning, selection and collection of evidence to investigate the business issues. This study will
involve how to produce creative solutions and well argued and supported report in the response of
the identified issue. These areas would provide me essential practical skills to conduct business
operations successfully and manage organisations efficiently.

I believe, other units which are Business Insights and Problem Solving, Leading and Developing
people and International Business Strategy with Simulation will not only provide me executive
management tools but also develop me as strategic leader.

After completion of the MSc International Business Management course, I will gain a set of skills and
competencies along academic depth and it will create me more opportunities to purist my career in
international companies. Since I am graduate at London Metropolitan University at present, despite
my career ambition in business and management sections, I could not develop my career at higher
level though I availed a part time position as Supervisor at Intercontinental Hotel.
I have chosen to continue studying at London Metropolitan University because this university
promote skills development such as research, communication, creativity and essential part is critical
thinking in teaching.
