Term Project: Designing Technology- Enhanced Lessons

The lesson plan prepared by Mr. Gavina and Ms. Alunday both use traditional and
modern ICT tools. Moreover, these are my recommendations regarding the said plan. On Mr.
Gavina’s plan, I observed that the lesson proper is teacher-centered. It could be improved if it
will be replaced by a student’s activity rather than a mere discussion. Moreover, I find the ICT
tools used in the application part inappropriate for the said activities. It could be more engaging
if students could apply it through online games per se.
On the other hand, Ms. Alunday’s plan uses Kahoot as a formative assessment for the
given lesson. Since the students are advised to have an internet connection before engaging to
the activity, I would recommend a small group discussion online in the brainstorming activity or
students might create a particular output after the brainstorming.
Moreover, the integration of ICT tools in their classroom will surely bring engagement to
the learners. The task of educators is to carefully select and evaluate the material that they are
going to integrate in their class.
