Dear Human Resource Manager:

I am writing this reference at the request of Britney Sawyer who is applying for a

position at School City of Mishawaka. Mrs. Sawyer has worked with me for one year at

South Bend Community School Corporation in teaching 5th grade students. Mrs. Sawyer has

several strengths I’d like to share. She has exceptional communication skills.

For example, there was a time when two students were in conflict. Mrs. Sawyer talked

to both of them and they calmed down; apologized not only to each other, but to her as

well. Mrs. Sawyer is also a very fast learner. She is innovative, encouraging, and a team

player. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Mrs. Britney Sawyer. If her performance in

my 5th grade level is any indication of how she would perform in the available position,
