Importance of the English in your studies to pursuit a degree as
engineer.

In this essay I’m going to write my opinions about the knowledge of English in my
studies and the importance and impact of this knowledge as student of
engineering, adding to this the topic sentences that for me are important, although I
don’t have much credibility I will comment the opinions of the article with that I
agree and those that I don’t.
As mentioned in the article the Great Britain has a great influence at the
universities with more prestige around the world and the United States too, these
two countries mentioned also have some of the most prestige universities why this
does that English being the first requirement to be accept at those universities.
Also in other countries around the world like Russia, Germany and Japan are
including the English as one very important language in their classes, because
they think that English is so important for the students once graduated because in
the world of professionals it’s difficult get a really good job, the jobs where the
professionals, in this case the engineers, is so demand the use of English as
second or even adopt the English as first language.
As student is important use English in the studies because in the companies that is
what they are looking for, a professional that can use the English fluently to speak
with engineers of other countries, in my personal experience I can say that in
industries the English are the principal language to speak with engineers of
Germany, China, United States and others. But that is a topic that write and argue
in other essay.
In conclusion, the English in the studies of one person is important because the
best jobs that the companies offer to us, the competition for these jobs are so hard
without use a second or even a third language, and that is in my opinion one of the
most important thing about the English. The importance also has place in the topic
about the knowledge that the students acquire, in English there are many sources
of information than Spanish, which is another point that personally I think is good to
know a little bit of English.
The importance of the English to get a good job in the engineering
professional field.

In this essay I will write about my opinions of the importance of English in the
engineering, but in this case in the professional field, also I think that should be
important to mention the fact that I’ve been in some situations like job interviews,
conversations with engineers that surround the industry; another relevant use of
English it’s when I use foreign equipment, which only has an English user manual.
For me the importance of English in engineering as a professional field is that it is
very necessary to be able to have a better development either within the company
where we are working as with other engineers from other companies with which we
have a relationship for some reason or another.
Within this same essay I would like to emphasize the issue that in terms of
researching information it is much easier to find better quality or more reputable
information in English than in Spanish, I personally had the opportunity to have a
class in English in which I was facilitated to find the information that was necessary
to me in English, when searching for it in Spanish I did not find any relevant
information.
Another important point is that in certain job interviews it was necessary to use
English to be able to have a talk with the engineers, because in the vacancies I
went to they were more interested in an intern who had the knowledge of a second
language, which makes me think as an intern once we will become employees the
demand for the use and mastery of a second language will be a requirement, in
this case English.
Also when wanting to look for other horizons abroad as well mentioned in the
article important countries such as Great Britain, Germany, China and the same
United States require that you have an English proficiency to have a better
communication with other engineers around the world.
In conclusion, the essay can be closed by mentioning that it is important to have an
English proficiency as well as to have a fluent English when having a conversation
with fellow engineers located in other countries of the world or simply having
negotiations with other people around the world.
