Overview/ A conducting pattern is a form in which your dominant hand follows in order to
Introduction: establish beats and tempo to the choir. Conducting is also called as an ART of
directing a musical performance, such as orchestral or choral concert. This is a
form for a conductor to communicate with their musicians or singers primarily
through hand gestures, usually with the aid of baton. Eye contact also another way
of communicating to the members.

Learning The students should be able to understand and apply basic gestures and strategies

 Appreciate music and organize pieces for conducting exercises
 Demonstrate a clear, efficient and expressive conducting technique.

preparatory exercises , basic beat patterns, cueing and release gesture)
