Global GAP standard is designed to promote Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and to reassure consumers about how
food is produced on the farm by minimizing detrimental environmental impacts of farming operations, reducing the
use of chemical inputs and ensuring a responsible approach to worker health and safety as well as animal welfare.
The aim of this course is to provide training (Knowledge and Skill) to employees so that effective Global GAP standard
can be implemented. The training course has been prepared as per the requirements of Global GAP Version 5.2.

Learning Objectives:

This course is designed to:

 Understand what is Global GAP and its family

 Importance of Global GAP for international business
 Basic requirements of Global GAP implementation & Inspection process
 Documetation requirements of Global GAP Version 5.2

Course contents:

 All Farm base requirements

 Crop base requirements
 Fruits & Vegetable base requirements
 Quality Management System requirements
 Produce handling requirements

Duration and Dates

The course duration is 8 hours. Course will begin at 9.00 A.M. till 5.30 P.M. ( Half an hour lunch break from 1 P.M till
1.30 P.M) Date: 09/04/2020

A desktop or Laptop with good speed on internet A headset is recommended. Web session would be carried out on
gotowebinar/Microsoft meeting platform
