Design requirements of WLAN, Network Architecture, WLAN Standards. Wireless Metropolitan Area
Networks: IEEE 802.16 standards, advantages, IEEE 802.11 Vs IEEE 802.16, WMAN Network architecture,
Broadband Wireless Networks, WMAN Applications. 09 Hrs Laboratory Experiments: Using Matlab and
VSA system vue Simulation of Okumura, HATA model and Indoor propagation model Design and
simulation of CDMA and OFDM. Simulation of 2x2 MIMO. Simulation of Gaussian minimum shift
keyingtechnique. Demonstrate operation of QPSK modulation. Demonstrate operation of IEEE
