Is earning money the only good reason for working?

The first reason why people work is that they need money for living, due to the fact earning
money is an important part of their lives. For most people, work is stressful, and for a minority,
work is a pleasure. Is money our only good reason for working?

First of all, during work people improve their skills which helps them to earn more money. With
a higher salary, people are more motivated to work harder and learn something new, which could
help them in the future. People are beings created to learn constantly new skills and information,
which represents the beauty of the work.

Moreover, colleagues play an important role in our jobs. Without them, some work assignments
would be impossible to finish. They are here to help us whenever we need, and sometimes they
can do us a bigger favor than some of our family members. Some of them might become our
friend for life.

Apart from this, pleasure plays the main role in our jobs. With this in mind, the most successful
people are those who truly love what they do for a living.

In my opinion, people should be lead by their passion not by the sum of money on the paycheck.
They must understand that money isn't the only good reason for working, there are so many more
and better reasons to do some work.
