To whom it may concern,

As a senior in Carson Senior High, I’ve developed many skills for the future. I’ve done many speeches,
power points, and research in my high school career. That led me to seek out a career related to helping
others in some sort of way. That being said, the skills I’ve gained and honed would be public speaking.
During my time in Upward Bound, I’ve done a couple of projects where I had to discuss some topics. To
my enjoyment that clouded my nervousness, I chose to speak about badminton and cloning. After going
through that experience, I’ve become more comfortable around presenting projects. That resulted in me
becoming a better speaker.

Having said that, I’m most interested in a career that works with others. Not only am I a good speaker, I
can organize well so that my surrounding areas are suitable for a working environment. I also am comfy
with technology such as Word and PowerPoint. I put much effort into doing the things I need to do.

Looking forward to college, I’m seeking out advancements of my educational goals. I aspire to learn more
things such as, CAD, business, and art.
