Best Work Nicholas Martinez

One of my best works would have to be a PowerPoint presentation I did for my internship at

Potential industries, junior year of high school. The month I was working there I created a

PowerPoint presentation showing how much plastic and recycling can change our planet, this

really caught my attention because working at a recycling company really made me think about

how I can recycle and change my daily life. Working there really gave me the evidence and facts

that not a lot of people actually know. I saw that most people who put stuff in the trash cans

don’t really care what bin they put it in and little did you know can make a huge difference. I

presented my project to my supervisors and they really noticed how much I’ve learned and how

much I wanted to make a difference in our forever changing world.

I think this is my best work because this meant a lot to me and due to the fact that it has to

do with recycling and helping our planet. I also think this is my best work because being able to

impress my supervisors and let them know how I feel about the environment was really an

accomplishment. Being an ESET student has already been changing my perspective on how I

view the world and getting this internship excelled my way of thing to places I never would have

thought.

Things I could have done to make my best work even better would probably have spent more

time on it. I’m proud of what I did but I know I could also put more key components of

information. This opportunity really gave me a chance to speak from the heart and I think this

will forever affect my thinking
