About NGO ( Think Planet )

 Think planet is an organization is working towards making our mother


earth more green and sustainable.
 This organization works on preventing soil erosion by removing
plastics from society, cleaning public areas and planting more trees
across India.
 It was opened by a group of medical students 3 years before to make
mother earth sustainable.
 Till now more than 50k + plants and trees have been planted by NGO.
 Cleaned 800+ areas of different cities of India.

Vision And Mission of NGO

 Vision: To make India more Sustainable and evergreen.

 Mission:
• To work upon reducing usage of plastics by alternative
means.
• To prevent soil erosion by making people aware of the
importance of soil.
• Growing and planting more trees around us and
specifically in polluted areas to reduce global warming.
What We Offer

 Plantation:
• We help and teach people about how to grow and plant different trees and crops and how to take
care of them.
• Organizing events related to topics like how fusing technology with old farming method to make
more output out of it.

 Soil Erosion Prevention:


• Removing plastics from society.
• Aware people about difference between biodegradable waste and unbiodegradable waste.
• Introducing alternative for plastics in society and making them aware of it.
Day 1

 I attended the host lecture of NGO at my first day of


internship.
 Along with me many students were present in the online
room.
 Lecture was addressed by Director sir and other staffs.
They guided us about and its vision.
 We were informed about different types of past events
organized by the NGO.
 And they provided us timetable and information about the
work we have to perform during internship.
Day 2 to 6

 From day 2 to 6 we were taught by external and internal lecturers and teacher
regarding NGO and its work.
 We were given information about different types of farming methods practiced in
India and outside India and difference between economies and technology level of
different countries.
 They taught us about why learning agriculture basics is important for everyone.
 How to make small events a big success in terms of environment topics.
 How to promote social events among general public to make more
impact( strategies and tactics)
Day 7 to 15

 So this was day I started all my field work.


 I started from public area near my home and started
digging and planting trees by using farming kit.
 It was peace giving and motivational activity.
 Each day from day 7 to 15 planted more than 10
plants in areas near to my house.
 Days were going productive and experience giving.
Day 16 to 21

 The time passed and I planted more trees.


 After seeing my Instagram stories, and work some of my
friends also joined me and provided a helping hand in my
work.
 We all did a marvelous job and enjoyed a lot spending time
with nature.
 I made them aware of the things what I learned from NGO.
 Also guided them with the different type of planting and
farming techniques.
Day 25 to 27

 As I was working day after day and approaching towards end of


internship I found this something more and big should to this work.
 Suddenly, a thought prevailed.
 Of organizing an event where people will be made aware of todays
situation.
 And to promote afforestation and plant adaptation.
 To make them aware of new methods and alternatives which can
replace plastics from daily use.
 To we went according to plan and made that event more
succuessful,.
Day 28 to 30

 This were the last days of internship where felicitation ceremony


and project evaluation.
 All the students working as interns presented their work in front of
NGO staff and were given online certificates.
 They motivated me to work ahead in this sector be in contact with
NGO.
 Am really thank full to everyone who helped me to find my
passion towards working for mother earth and nature.
 This was last days in NGO but not least in working towards
making our environment more cleaner and safer to live.
Challenges Faced

 Internet connectivity issues during online lectures and tutorials.


 It was time of summers time and heat waves were on peak so it
was challenge to cope up with that weather.
 I was new to planting field so using farming kit was a challenge.
 Cows and other prey animals use to eat the saplings. So to keep
them safe was a challenge.
 Managing the crowd during event and making them aware about
event was a challenge.
Learning Outcomes

 I learned a lot about different farming practices and their use.


 Learned how to use farming kit.
 How to sow seeds of different plantation.
 I learned how to manage crowd and turning a small event into a grand success by
using different marketing tricks.
 Got more closer to nature and founded my passion in this field.
 How to connect and make aware people to nature and their responsibilities.
Conclusion:

 I worked in an NGO named Think Planet for a 30+ days time tenure.
 Gained experience in field of plantation and farming.
 Removed plastics and other harmful substances from nature.
 Made aware people about harmfulness of using unbiodegradable things at a high
rate.
 Organized an event in which taught people about plantations and cleaned many
public places like parks, roads and bus stands.
 Learned how market a small event using emotions to make it a big success.
 Founded my passion towards nature and started reasearch about more ways to
clean and save our earth.
