Why RED RIGHT HAND?

 RED RIGHT HAND is an non-governmental organization

which was started by Mr. Jaidayal Singh in the year
1995.
 This organization mainly relies on donation and funds
provided by educational institutions of Hadiabad,
Phagwara, Punjab-144402.

 I have chosen this organization because in this modern

society everyone is polluting their surroundings and no
one is taking care of our precious environment .
 I wished to make our home planet a better place that’s
why I have chosen this NGO.
WHAT IS CDP?
 The phrase ‘community development’ is made of two words—’community’ and
‘development’.
 ‘Community’ is a social group, a cluster of people, who have some degree of
‘we feeling’ share a common way of life and living in a contiguous limited
area.
 Members of a community have a feeling of belonging together and a sense of
common membership which is known as ‘community sentiment’.
 The word ‘development’ refers to a process of change for better way of living
(healthier life, more education, greater control over life, etc.). It implies
some positive progress in society’s condition.

In India, Community Development Project (CDP) was launched under the Five-
Year Plans on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October 1952 to
carry out the objectives outlined in the draft of the plan. According to Planning
Commission of India, ‘CDP is the method and the rural extension the agency
through which the Five-Year Plan seeks to initiate a process of transformation of
the social and economic life of the villagers.’

EFFECTIVENESS OF PROJECT

 Ø The project solely based on the reducing the pollution in the environment
and improvement of the surroundings.

 Ø All of the activities and steps done in this project effects the improvement
of the nature, air, water, and soil

 Ø Activities like Reduce, Reuse, Recycle will help us reduce the waste
generation in the society of everything is evaluated on these parameters

 Ø Tree plantation may not be too effective right now, but it will be great
source in near future and will help the society for many years.

 Ø Any idea is always lead by one to other so spreading awareness was one of
the best idea and initiative to control pollution

CONCLUSION

 Through this project we made a small initiative to give priority to our

society and a small contribute to the people who live in it by improving
the health status up to best possible way we could.

 Planting tree are the best way to control the global warming, reduce air
pollution and hold soil from erosion and the earth’s temperature even if
every person plant a single tree on monthly basis the earth will be lot
greener and will reduce the global warming or probably eliminate it in
long term. Also protection of our loved ones is our duty so we should
alert them but, not provide false news

 Thus, through this project we made a step forward to help those in

need, to serve humanity and the society. Helping those in need is not an
easy task, lots of NGO’s has been set up to help others but they need
man power and volunteers to help others in need. Through the
Community Development Project, they are getting help by us. So we
should contribute something to our society or community that will make
our community a better place.
