Warm up
To clap the pulse of a Walk to the Pulse Walking Element (GM Booklet): Hooked on Classics CD
piece of music Repeat Clapping Element from lesson 3
Walk round the room, stepping in time to CD and ask class to join CD Player
Shout ‘half speed’ and ‘double’ and change the pulse accordingly

Main Activities
To play the note D Play Walk to the Pulse on the note C along to backing track in C Backing Tracks in Major
Ask children to play a C along to the track on the crotchet pulse Keys CD
then when you shout half speed change to the minim pulse and
when you shout half again change to the semibreve pulse. Shout Glory Be CD
Double to reverse this

Learn to play E-zy to Play on the note day as in week 3
