To clap the pulse of a Walk to the Pulse Clapping Element (GM Booklet):
piece of music Play Class Hooked on Classics CD
Clap pulse to CD and ask class to join
Shout ‘half speed’ and ‘double’ and change the pulse accordingly

Main Activities
To tongue the note C Revise Rest Position and Playing Position
Revise embouchure (echo game on mouthpiece)
Revise note C and tonguing (echo game on trumpets)
Revise Glory Be on C

Learn to Play ‘E-zy to Play’

Sing piece to letter name C, sing piece using rhythm words, sing
piece with backing track, learn to play piece focusing on
producing the note C and on tonguing

Look for the repeated pattern in the piece
