pick up = a ridica
chess = șah
sail = a naviga
palace = palat
deer = căprioară – (pl) deer – nu își schimbă forma la plural (exact ca fish)

Afirmativ – it happened
Negativ – it did not happen/it didn’t happen
Întrebare – did it happen? - Yes, it did. / No, it didn’t.

Dear Aunt Sara,
Here are some photos of the castle we visited last Friday. It was great! We all travelled on the
school bus. It was a long journey , but we all played games and listened to music. It was great
fun! At the castle we looked at some paintings and some dresses. They were really cool! Then
we watched a film about knights. We liked it a lot! On the way home we stopped at a big cafe.
We played on the game machines.
It was a fantastic day! I hope you like the photos.
