bin lifters, FARIDweigh is a dynamic and
automatic bin weighing and identification
system.
Lifter terminal – fitted near to the lifter the
terminal can be used to electronic record
information such as; bin damage,
contaminated bins, bins not presented
etc.

FARIDtrac – GPS position of your
vehicle in real time. The system can be
used to locate your vehicles position at
any time. Additionally the system records
the GPS location of every bin lifted – very
useful for route planning and analysis.
FARIDcollection – A terminal in the cab
displays a list of the bins that have been
allocated to the vehicle for collection in
the day or tour. Updated by GPRS the list
of collections can be constantly updated
throughout the day, as collections are Load Cell Sensor On Lifter
completed or additional collections are
required.

Weighing Technology
The unique patented load cells use vibrating wire technology to give a digital output, this is far more
accurate and reliable than alternative strain gauge systems that often have to slow the lifter to get an
accurate weight.

The FARIDweigh system uses an acceleration cell to compensate for the speed of the lift, angle of the
vehicle and temperature, this ensures that the system remains accurate where ever it is operated.

The Process
When the container is positioned on the lifter, a reader on the lifter automatically identifies the Chip to Comb
container by a micro chip placed in the comb of the container. As the lifter empties the bin, the weight
is recorded when it is raised and again when it is lowered, the system then automatically calculates
the weight of material emptied into the vehicle. FARID UK Ltd

The weight, container identification number, date and time of emptying is stored on a data card in the Arundel
vehicle cab. This card can be used to transfer the data to office software and optionally the data can

be transferred by GPRS to the office using the FARIDtrac or FARIDcollection products.
