You were employed on a limited term contract from which you resigned prior to its standard
expiry date. As you worked for between 2 and 5 years and voluntarily resigned, you are due a
reduced gratuity payment in accordance with Article 85 of the Labour Law.
If the reason for leaving is deemed unlawful, you may also owe your employer the wages that
would have been paid for the remaining duration of your contract in accordance with Article
77 parts 2. & 3., of the Labor Law.
Gratuity Calculations
If employment ends during a probabtion period (max 90 days or extended to 180 days by
written agreement between employee and employer) no end of service award is due, see
Articles 53 & 54.
